Landlady Landed (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. My landlady landed at an airport back east Since I paid the rent on the house that I leased She came into town and she took all my cash She left in a rush 'cause she's got a fresh stash My landlady landed at an airport down south She stayed in a room in a broken down house She came back to town with a scar on her face She fell down the stairs in that ragged old place She gotta get away She gotta get back home She gotta get away She cannot be alone My landlady landed at an airport up north She went to see the celebration on the Fourth She came back to town with a cast on her arm The fireworks display could not be disarmed My landlady landed at an airport out west She hopped off the plane in her ultimate quest She came back to town with a broken tailbone She fell off the runway when she slipped on a stone My landlady landed at an airport back home She called me up on the telephone She came back to town and she don't have a cent She said she's gonna have to raise my rent

Last Resort 04:09
Last Resort (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. It was getting late in the day They had traveled a long way And they were getting very tired Of all the road dust they acquired On the road they were all alone The sun was dropping like a stone The nighttime air had brought the cold And now the darkness was taking hold They were at the end of the line They were running out of time They were alone with no escort They had arrived at the last resort No room at the inn was the sign of the day Where ever they stopped they were turned away Now their senses began to distort Until they found the last resort When they walked inside they could tell This place could be no worse than Hell The devil's grin was their only port they will 'ever stay at the last resort

Reasons & Excuses (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. I see you sitting there I can tell what you're thinking It's about the next lie To come out of your mouth You see you were born with it Your eyes never blinking I remember the time You left me no doubt Excuses for everything Reasons for nothing You're always playing games But you're no good at bluffing You know I'm the same way I'm really no different 'Cept I've got nothing to say Got no anger to vent You talk too much I say too little Our love's a crutch We can't find the middle ground
4.
Insomnia 03:46
Insomnia (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. Three o'clock in the morning and I'm wide awake Went to bed at eleven, four hours ain't enough Eternity of darkness before daybreak Today is gonna be really rough Counting bleats doesn't seem to work I lost count between eye blinks So before I go berserk I could swallow a pill or have a drink When I was younger I could sleep all night Wake up in the morning and feel alright Before I know it I'll be rid of this bed They all tell me I can sleep when I'm dead Lying here without a sound My mind should be on the other side But insomnia has me bound Insomnia has me tired And now I'm drifting off to find some peace My dreams were starting to unlock My subconscious was about to release Interrupted by my alarm clock

Olives And Worms (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. Every night I watch them come into my place Some think they're at the top of the human race Others ain't so lucky, but still they try hard They really can't help it, they got dealt a bad card But they come in together, in here for a drink Some are celebrating, some are pushed to the brink Martinis and tequila are the drinks that they choose Another evening with their friends, their friends and their booze Martinis and tequila, they have their own food They won't admit it but I've seen what they chewed I've seen all kind of folks but this I have learned Some eat the olives and some eat the worms They laugh and drink, and they stay all night Some fall on the floor, some get in a fight Some try to drive home so I call them a cab Others sneak out the back door 'cause they can't pay their tab

Overthrow 03:00
Overthrow (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. While they plot the overthrow Of the ancient status quo And we all look down below We were once like them We were fighting for the gems An act they could condemn By causing more mayhem It's the only thing we know They have their own heroes With their arrows and their bows Our weapons now have changed But our tactics stay the same Their fight to rights reclaimed Our targets are now in range Gunfire that's been exchanged The sound of victory echoes
7.
In Crowd 03:17
In-Crowd (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. You were in with the in-crowd And you left me to drown You were walking on a cloud As you wore the thorned crown You were out with the in-crowd You returned to your hometown The revenge that you vowed Preceded you meltdown So you came back to me And I let you back in But we could not agree And then you left again You were in with the out-crowd But you just looked the clown You thought you were so proud But you were heading down Now you're out with the out-crowd And you wear your designer frown It was more than you could allow When they dragged you out of town
8.
Killing Floor (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. You're top of the food chain as we all know Lest we forget the stench below Of the carcasses that you discard Are buried in the king's courtyard It's a fact you can't ignore You get your meals from the killing floor Get your meals from the killing floor You justify your malicious way By the higher power you obey And prey for us with fist in hand To follow his supreme command How many saints must we adore To get reprieve from the killing floor Get reprieve from the killing floor You always play this losing game That your opponents are the ones to blame But there's really no one else to compete 'Cause you claim to be supreme athlete You're the only one keeping score When the clock runs out on the killing floor Clock runs out on the killing floor You have decreed the battle cry But your plans have gone awry Ironic twists of fate arose When you killed our last heroes You told your armies it was time for war To stop the carnage on the killing floor Stop the carnage on the killing floor

Outline of Chalk (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. They walked in and I was unaware The smell of flowers was in the air I guess it was Spring but I really couldn't tell They kept it dark here inside of this cell How long had I been here, how many days My hair was long, my beard was grey I was hungry, thirsty, but it would have to wait It was time for them to interrogate The government from this foreign land Had caught me with my crimson hands They tried to make me talk I was soon to be an outline of chalk

Demon Train 03:26
Demon Train (c) 2011 WRC, Jr. Our journey had just begun We were off to see the chosen one The tracks ahead were all well worn We had to be there by early morn' The demon train was the only way There was no time for us to delay We rode it many times before A journey we started to deplore There was no time to hide our fear The doom we felt became too clear We could perceive of all the pain When we got aboard the demon train The demon train rode off the rails The smoke grew thick as the engine failed And we crashed the barren landscape We barely had time to escape
