DRIVE ANOTHER MILE - She it seemed was looking for a friend. He sure needed a life place to begin. Their puzzle pieces, well they seemed to fit. So their journey started with out a hitch. He thought he could make some cash off her. She knew she had allot to offer. He sometimes thought he had a plan. She always knew she had her man. Living on the edge had always been their style. Nothing to fall back on, no cushion drive another mile. They were always looking for a score. That was when they stumbled on an open door. The piles of cash were stacked upon the floor. They filled their bags and headed for the door. He didn't think she would kill so fast. She had him. She knew he wouldn't last. His blood puddle spatter faded into gray. And then she turned and walked away. She walked away with the moneybag. She sly smiled as she stopped for the luggage tag. A flight to a new life was in her sights until the FBI asked,"What went on that night?"

YOU DON'T SEE - When I leave you now. I don't expect to lose. I'll be back somehow returning in my shoes. But fate got in the way. Won't see another day. It does no good to pray. Reality surprise. The stories summarize. My picture starts to fade, a ghost that can't be saved. Looking at the trees, a forest in the breeze. Incurable disease. But you don't see me now. I'm invisible to you. It comes as no surprise. I see it in your eyes. But you don't see me now.

Gallows Bo 03:51
GALLOWS BO - Drivin' my cart on down the road. My horse was pulling a heavy load. Another inmate was leaving death row, and headin' for the gallows pole. And he's begging me not to go. I told him he's already dug his hole. Should be prayin' to Jesus for his mortal soul 'cause he's headin' for the gallow pole. The deed was done. I was goin' home. Rain was falling. I was chilled to the bone. The haunting memories were killing my soul of the wretches hanging from the gallows pole. I climbed into bed. I needed to close the days events. My guilt did rose. But sleep didn't come. I was alone from the memories of the gallows pole. I climbed out of bed, my head aching so. My only relief was out in the cold. The noose 'round my neck had started to glow. They found me hangin' from the gallows pole.

SORRY BOB BLUES - Policeman caught us doin' ninety-five. Me, I'm just tryin' to survive. So why don't you just shut up and drive, and let me do the talking. You see, Johnny, he had a gun. He said he was lookin' for some fun. Me, I just wanted to run, but the seatbelt kept me fastened. Sorry Bob for what I done. I didn't mean to steal your tongue. Been listenin' to ya from day one, but I know it's plagerisim. Slide that bottle underneath the seat. I think I hear the State Trooper's feet. He's lookin' for a score to complete, and he ain't in no hurry. As the state trooper started to pass, Johnny floored it. He gave it the gas. And my lunch was coming up fast. I shouldn't have had the special. Just as we were startin' to go, Tom Petty came on the radio. Johnny's attention started to slow, and the trooper saw his moment. Tom was playin' on the box. Big John's favorite, he thinks it rocks. That was all that was needed for the cops. They took his ass to prison. Sorry Tom for stealin' your riff. Tried it myself. I don't have the gift. My ride is gone. Could I have a lift? I promise to be quiet.

WRITE A NEW TUNE - I just got back from a sleepy little one night stand. The crowd wasn't dancin' and nobody would clap their hands. The manager said, "Don't bother comin' 'round again". Well I didn't get mad 'cause the manager done me wrong. I sat right down and started writing this here song. Once I got started well it really didn't take too long. Gonna write a new tune. Gonna play it for you soon. Gonna write a new tune. Gonna play it for you soon. Gonna write a new song and it really shouldn't take too long. Well I went right back to that sleepy little one horse town. I jumped on stage as the cops was shuttin' it down. Started singing my tune and I really blew away the crowd. Well the manager said, "You can come back anytime". "Keep singin' that song and lettin' your star shine." "But don't ask for no money 'cause I just can't spare a dime.

PEACELESS LIFE - Our frequent chance encounters. You can't speak up any louder. Bent on being a bitter reject. Can't control your psycho logic. You’ve decided to deplore me. Gore me with your snide asides. Why don't you just ignore me? Everything you hear is twisted. Wonder if you ever really listen where the conversation's headin'. Nothing's ever said it's only read in. You always seem to need me why? My treatment leaves you seething. Free me from your peace less life. Bein' your friend was pure frustration. Try to fight off your fixation. Opportunity surrounds you, but you permit your shifting moods to ground you. Still you seem to need me, why? My treatment leaves you seething.

Road Rage 04:35
ROAD RAGE - I got that road rage baby. I've had it for years. Road rage momma, so don't shed no tears. No baby please don't cry. I see those tears in your eyes. I'm drivin' toward the sunrise. I got that road rage baby. I'm out of control. Road rage momma. Better prey for our souls. I got that road rage baby. I'm easy to find. Road rage momma. The smoke is startin' to rise. I got that road rage baby, but it's startin' to cool. Road rage momma. I've been actin' the fool.
9.
DON'T TAKE MY MONEY - Don't take my money. You don't even have a gun. You think you're being funny. You think you've already won. I go off to work all the day long. You take a quarter. I think it's all wrong. I don't even know what you spend it on. Whatca doin' with my money? You spend it oh so fast. You say that it's to help me honey. You're addicted to cash. Give me back my money. You don't deserve it to spend. I gotta feed my family. You bleed me dry 'till the end. If I was to die I'd think I had won, but then you would go and take from my son. You can't help yourself you'll never be done.

ST. JAMES INFIRMARY - It was down in a smoky tavern, in a corner by the square. All the guys stood around drinkin' whisky, and the usual crowd was there. On my left stood my old pal McKenna. With his eyes all bloodshot and red. As he gazed at the crowd all around him, lookin' sad these words he said. “I went down to St. James Infirmary, and I saw my baby there. She was stretched on a long white table. Looked so pale, so cold, so fair. Let her go, let her go, God bless her. Let her go wherever she may be. She may search this whole country over, she'll find not a man like me. Now you've listened to my story. I'll have one more shot of booze. And if anyone happens to ask you, I've got those gambler's blues”.
11.
OH SHENANDOAH - Oh Shenandoah, I long to hear you. Away you rolling river. Oh Shenandoah, I long to hear you. Away, I'm bound away. 'Cross the wide Missouri. Oh Shenandoah, I love your daughter. Away you rolling river. I'll take her 'cross your rollin' water. 'Tis seven years, I've been a rover. Away you rolling river. When I return, I'll be your lover. Oh Shenandoah, I'm bound to leave you. Away you rolling river. Oh Shenandoah, I'll not deceive you.
12.
TROUBLE IN MIND - Trouble in mind, I'm blue, but I won't be blue always. You know the sun's gonna shine, and brighten my backdoor some day. I'm all alone at midnight, and my lamp is burnin' low. I ain't never had so much trouble in my mind before. Trouble in mind, it's true. I have almost lost my mind. When I get a little up front, I always end up behind. I'm goin' down to the river. I'm gonna take my rockin' chair, and if the blues don't leave me I'm gonna rock away from there. Oh you, you've been a mean woman. Yeah you, sure did treat me unkind. Well, I'm gonna be your hard hearted daddy. I'm gonna' make you lose your mind. Yeah I got trouble, trouble, oh trouble. I got trouble on my weary mind. When you see me laughin' I'm laughin' just to keep from cryin'. Trouble in mind, I'm blue, but I won't be blue always. 'Cause you know the sun's gonna shine, and brighten my backdoor. I said the sun's gonna shine, and brighten my backdoor. I said the sun's gonna shine and brighten my backdoor someday.
