It was time to decide
If we were partners in this crime
Shades of grey or cut and dried
Evade the law just one more time

We drove down to the local bank
Open door we stepped inside
Guns aimed at point blank
No one moved and no one died

The take was a hundred grand
We left without a sound
With the money in our hands
We headed out of town

Flying low down the highway
At a hundred miles an hour
We embraced the coming day
Things started to turn sour

The roadblock was all set
A decision to be made
Do we run the gauntlet?
Or do our sins become our fate?
